The IJC’s Spring 2018 Semi-Annual Meeting kicked off with the Lake Champlain-Richelieu River Study Board and concluded with the Accredited Officers of the St. Mary and Milk Rivers.
Commissioners and board members from across Canada and the United States gathered at the IJC’s US Section office in Washington, D.C., to review progress on issues including water levels, nutrients, aquatic invasive species and flooding. The event was held during the week of April 23.
The Great Lakes Water Quality Board marked its 200th meeting during the week, which also included a meeting of Commissioners and government representatives.
Highlights from the Spring Semi-Annual were posted on Twitter and Facebook, where you also can follow the IJC for regular updates on activities and news from the Canada-US transboundary region.
See infographics below, which were shared on social media as part of board appearances. More photographs from the week are available on our Flickr feed.
The next semi-annual meeting is planned for the fall at the IJC’s Canadian Section office in Ottawa, Ontario.
