Flood-Inundation Maps for Lake Champlain in Vermont and New York (Report)

In the spring of 2019, flood inundation maps for the entire US Lake Champlain shoreline were completed from work realized in 2016 (the report is available at https://pubs.er.usgs.gov/publication/sir20185169). These maps show areas of land inundation along the Lake shoreline in New York and Vermont at 11 different lake levels. These inundation maps are currently available on national USGS flood inundation map server at https://fim.wim.usgs.gov/fim/. Flood Inundation Mapper - USGS Disclaimer for Flood-Inundation Maps. Inundated areas shown should not be used for navigation, regulatory, permitting, or other legal purposes. Although USGS intends to make this server available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, timely delivery of data and products from this server through the Internet is not guaranteed.
