Protection of the Waters of the Great Lakes 2025 Report on Water Diversions and Uses

In February 2000, the International Joint Commission released a report entitled Protection of the Waters of the Great Lakes (PWGL). In the report, the IJC recommended that it conduct a review of the report’s recommendations after three years and at 10-year intervals thereafter. The Commission released its first review in 2004 and its second in 2015.
