August 2022 Community Listening Sessions with the International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board

A brief presentation on the 2022 flood event in the basin will be shown at the beginning of the meeting. This meeting is an opportunity for community members to share their views and concerns with the Board and its Committees. This information will help inform analyses and content that will be included in the post 2022 flood report.

The International Joint Commission formed the International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board to assist with binational coordination of water quality efforts for the entire boundary watershed and to coordinate the management of the water levels and flows on Rainy and Namakan lakes and the Rainy River.
