Bathymetric Data Collection for Lower Rainy River to Assist in the Improvement of a Digital Elevation Model for Rainy River

This project will be used to collect bathymetric data for the Rainy River below Manitou Rapids, through to Fourmile Bay on Lake of the Woods. These bathymetric data will be used to improve a digital elevation model (DEM) for Rainy River and will feed into the new Integrated Socio-Economic and Environmental (ISEE) model under development by Environment and Climate Change Canada for the Rainy – Namakan and Rainy River system.
