International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board Water Levels Committee to Host In-Person Public Meeting
The International Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed Board (IRLWWB) Water Levels Committee (Committee) will host a public meeting in International Falls, MN at the Minnesota North College- Rainy River Campus on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. CST. Enter the Humanities Building via doors 2 or 3. The Committee ensures that International Joint Commission orders for the operation of the dams on the Rainy River and outlets of Namakan Lake are followed.
The public meeting will include a brief overview of water regulation in the Rainy-Lake of the Woods Watershed and a recap of watershed conditions and forecasts discussed at the March 4, virtual information session. There will also be an opportunity for participants to ask questions and share their observations on winter conditions in the watershed.
