Great Lakes Science Strategy for the Next Decade: Summary Report

Date
Precis

The Great Lakes Science Strategy for the Next Decade (the Science Strategy) summarizes the science gaps and related resource needs identified by hundreds of knowledge-holders convened by the International Joint Commission (IJC). This Summary Report provides an overview of the project and integrates findings of the Science Strategy into a broader framework to better define science needs to understand changes in the Great Lakes for the protection of the economic, social and environmental health of the region.

Moving forward from the Science Strategy, additional engagements with knowledge-holders, stakeholders, rights-holders and governments are essential next steps in creating, launching and executing a comprehensive multinational Great Lakes Science Plan.
