Public Meeting Announcement - International St. Croix River Watershed Board

Date

May 21, 2025

The International St. Croix River Watershed Board (ISCRWB) will host a public meeting at the Garcelon Civic Centre in St. Stephen, New Brunswick, on Wednesday June 11 at 6pm AST (5pm EST) to update the public on its activities.

The ISCRWB monitors the International Joint Commission (IJC) Orders of Approval for water levels and flows at the Milltown (decommissioned), Grand Falls, Vanceboro, and Forest City dams on the St. Croix River, and monitors water quality conditions to ensure they meet IJC objectives.

This meeting will include an overview of the ISCRWB and its activities, as well as presentations on water conditions in 2024-2025 and updates on notable projects, such as the Enhanced Water Quality Monitoring, Fish Passage Monitoring, and Water Requirements Studies. All are welcome to join the meeting and learn about the ISCRWB’s work, and to ask questions about water resources in the St. Croix River watershed.

No registration is required for in-person participation. You may register on MS Teams to participate in the meeting virtually.

If you’d like to submit questions in advance, please send them to scrwb@ijc.org.
