A public member of the Watershed Board, Ms Mason is from Ely MN. She is U.S. co-chair of the Board’s Community Advisory Group and its Engagement Committee. Previously she served as President and member of the Board of her lake association (WICOLA) for over 10 years during which she was heavily engaged in the Kawishiwi Watershed Protection Project sponsored by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency. She holds a degree in mathematics from Iowa State University and a master’s in library science from the University of Minnesota. Before retiring, she was Associate University Librarian at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities Libraries with responsibilities for library automation, digital projects, and administrative services.
