Description
A Reference to conduct investigations concerning the regulation (for various purposes) of levels of Rainy Lake, Namakan Lake and boundary waters above Namakan Lake.
Outcome
The IJC's report led to the 1938 Rainy Lake Convention which gives the IJC responsibilities with respect to the control of water levels under emergency conditions. (see Docket 50)
